Glass and jewelry production, which first started in Mseno in the 16th century, later gained worldwide fame with its unique glass and special jewelry production in the Jablonec region. 
In the 1500s, production in Venice, Italy, started with the cutting of cylindrical colored bars. Its production range has grown to unprecedented breadth, moving from Venice to Northern Bohemia, achieving high quality and international reputation.

In the second half of the 19th century, the Jablonec nad Nisou region reached its peak in the production of glass and glass pieces and became an international production and sales center. At the beginning of the 20th century, glass and jewelry production, which started with the production of 130 houses, became a giant sector employing thousands of people over time. Despite many economic crises in the world, this industry has continued its success in the new millennium by expanding its position and production without interrupting and expanding much more.
